By participating in this survey (the “Survey”), you agree to the following terms:
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and meet any participant criteria described in the Survey invitation or introduction.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. You may skip any question or withdraw from the Survey at any time before submitting your responses without penalty. Once responses are submitted, they may not be able to be withdrawn, as they may already be de-identified and aggregated.
Your responses will be used for research, analysis, and reporting purposes consistent with the stated objectives of the Survey. Results may be shared in aggregated, de-identified form with clients, project partners, funders, government agencies, academic institutions, or the public.
Confidentiality (default). Individual responses will be kept confidential and reported only in aggregate or de-identified form, except where you have expressly consented otherwise. Access to identifiable responses is restricted to authorized project personnel. Any personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Anonymity (where applicable). Some surveys are conducted on an anonymous basis, meaning no personally identifiable information is collected and responses cannot be linked back to you. Whether a particular survey is anonymous will be stated in the Survey’s introduction or stated objectives. If anonymity is not expressly stated, the Survey should be considered confidential but not anonymous, and limited identifying information (such as contact details, demographic data, or organizational affiliation) may be collected as described in the Survey.
You agree to provide truthful and accurate information to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for the content of your responses.
Unless expressly stated in the Survey invitation or introduction, participation does not entitle you to any compensation, payment, prize, or other consideration. Where an incentive is offered, eligibility, delivery, and the nature or value of the incentive are subject to the terms described at the time of the offer and may be modified, substituted, or withdrawn at any time without notice, to the extent permitted by law.
All Survey content, including questions, structure, format, and design, remains the property of Kai Analytics and Survey Solutions Inc. (“Kai Analytics”), its clients, and its partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use Survey materials for any purpose without prior written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Survey, submit automated or fraudulent responses, attempt to access data belonging to other respondents, or use the Survey for any unlawful purpose.
The Survey is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kai Analytics and its clients and partners disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation.
This Survey may be delivered through third-party platforms or services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time you submit your responses will govern your participation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
